Kamp Kinderdance for boys and girls ages 3-6 is an extended summer program that blends numerous techniques and movements from one or more of our enrichment programs: Kinderdance, Kindergym, Kindermotion and Yoga (non-spiritual, non-relegious).
This half-day summer camp introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet and creative movement while promoting the development of a strong and flexible body, increased balance, mind-body awareness and coordination and creativity. Dancers will also strengthen their motor, cognitive, social and emotional skills.
Our goal is to continue the children’s learning process in a fun, creative and exciting way. Children will enjoy sessions full of movement and dance sequences.
Below is a sample schedule of what our half-day could like. Afternoon schedules also available.
9:00 – 9:15 - Welcome & Warm-up Activities
9:15 – 9:30 - Pump up our heart & Strengthen Our Muscles
9:30 – 10:00 - Yoga Adventure
10:00-10:15 - Break/Snack
10:15-11:00 - Dance Class/Choreography
11:00-11:30 - Floor Gymnastics (low beam, obstacle courses, parachute, etc.)
11:30-11:45 - Cool Down
11:45-12:00 - Goodbye & Dance Games/Activities
We can also offer these programs separately for an hour once a week (Kinderdance, Kindergym or Yoga). Schedule can be designed to meet the group’s specific needs.
